I disgust myself sometimes. Last night I ate a whole turkey burger (I'm just going to say the stupid thing was close to 800 calories... I feel so bloated this morning, it isn't even funny. I was so dizzy after work though that all I could do was lay in bed. I couldn't purge it. Punishing for it today though... So I guess yesterday's total was 990 calories. ugh that's so depressing.
Brilliant! Exactly what I think. Green tea is great, so are cigarettes (but only American Spirit because they don't have all the chemicals and additives, just plain tobacco). I was vegetarian, now I'm vegan. It makes restriction easier and is a great excuse for why you're not eating because you can just say "oh, I can't eat that, it's not vegan". Also, sleeping a lot does help.
ReplyDeleteI actually don't work out like at the gym (I'm too poor) but I walk everywhere. About 2-3 hours 6 days a week. And I do muscle-toning excerises in the morning. Squats, leg lifts, pushups, chair dips, planking.
Always avoid soda and I gave up coffee in favor for tea. Black coffee can get boring, and there are so many different kinds of tea, you can make it a meal in it's self and not consume any calories! Always eat breakfast, even if it's just a few slices of apple and a cup of tea. And if there's one meal to skip, make it dinner.
Sorry this is so long, but I wanted to give you some of my "safe food" and "okay food" preferences. "Safe" are foods I eat daily and "okay" and are foods I eat maybe once or twice a week:
Safe foods....low-cal veggies (steamed or raw)and watery fruits: like carrots, celery, broccolli, swiss chard, spinach, melon, grapes, grapefruit, apples, blueberries, and then raw almonds too (one handful only, though)
Okay foods....Bocca Burgers (90 cals each and meat-free!), soy yogurt (150 cals), coconut yogurt (120 cals)
AND my one indulgence: chocolate Hazelnut milk (120 cals per serving)
Whenever I get a chocolate craving, I promise myself that if I don't slip up, I can have a chocolate Hazelnut milk the next day for lunch, that way you're still in control and have the whole afternoon the next day to burn it off! Plus, you're getting the calcium from the milk and the adisfaction that it's plant-based, and not the product of the horribly corrupt and cruel dairy industry.
Stay Skinny and Godspeed,
Mara Jane
